Mulching and bed edging. This is the single thing our customers mention most in their reviews, and it is the fastest way to make a tired property look cared for. We cut a fresh edge rather than dropping mulch against a grown-in border.
Core aeration and overseeding. This is what actually repairs turf. Our clay packs down hard, and a lawn that is thin rather than dead usually has a compaction problem, not a grass problem.
Sod. When a lawn is too far gone to seed, sod gives you a finished lawn in a day.
Spring and fall cleanups. Winter debris out, beds cut back and edged, mulch down. In fall we stay ahead of the leaves so they are not smothering the grass under the first snow.
Western Pennsylvania is hard on turf. Heavy clay packs down, shade from mature trees thins it out, and a wet spring gives way to a dry August.
Thin turf is a symptom. The cause is normally compacted soil, poor grading where water sits, or shade. Throwing seed at it every spring without fixing the cause is money going nowhere.
We aerate to open the soil up, overseed to thicken the stand, and regrade where water is collecting. If the lawn is gone rather than thin, we lay sod. If nothing will grow there because it is deep shade, we will say so and talk to you about artificial turf instead.
We do not cut grass. No weekly mowing, no seasonal mowing contracts.
It is the one service we turn down, and we turn it down honestly. If you call us about mowing you will still get a straight answer from us so you can move on and find someone who does it, rather than being strung along.

No. Grass cutting is the one service we do not offer, and we would rather say so plainly than take the call and let you down. We do everything else on a lawn: mulching, bed edging, core aeration, overseeding, sod and seasonal cleanups.
